REMEMBERING ERIC WARD
June 7, 1986 would have been Eric’s college graduation from Georgia College in Milledgeville had his life not been cut short a few months earlier. After graduating South Cobb High in 1982 Eric had attended Georgia College and played varsity soccer there for four seasons before he died over winter break of his senior year.

Kelly Mann, along with the Georgia College Soccer Team and the college cafeteria catering crew, established the Georgia College Eric Ward Memorial Scholarship to annually help a soccer player attend college in Milledgeville.
